Comparing 2005 Shadow Aero and Spirit Size

I'm curious if the 2005 Shadow Aero is larger than the Spirit. The Aero seems to have a bulkier appearance with its wider tires and fenders. Does anyone have insight into the key size differences between these two models? Thanks for your help

Yup, the 2005 Shadow Aero is generally a bit larger than the Spirit. It has wider tires, bigger fenders and a slightly longer and heavier frame... giving it that bulkier look. The Spirit is a bit slimmer and lighter, so while they share the same engine, the Aero has a more substantial presence overall.

Under all the bodywork, the difference in wheelbase is very small, i think it's about half an inch longer. The biggest surprise is that it's lighter than the Spirit. Oh and there's the seating, in the Aero you're sitting a couple of inches lower.
