I'm trying to find a leather, vinyl, or nylon tank cover for my '96 VT1100 ACE (4.2 gal tank, forward-center fuel cap). I want something with built-in pockets for my phone and wallet, and maybe space to attach a bottle holder. Nothing bulky or ugly, just clean and functional. I'd also like to be able to sew on extra accessories with heavy-duty thread.

Tank bibs from Mustang or Hopnel fit well, have storage, and don't mess with the bike's look. If you're a kind of handyman or something, they are very easy to mod as well.

those two tanks are solid. but always double check your specific tank dimensions against product specs.
